Finally...an update!!

It has been over a week since we posted last, and Ben has been quite a busy bee...with all sorts of developments and fun adventures.

Formula and bottles -- We are now on to formula #5 (or #6, we lost count), Nutramigen and using Dr. Brown's Bottles. So much for the two days supply of Avent bottles in the cupboard. Ben's fussiness returned in an extreme way only during feedings and for a week now we have seen huge improvements.

Weight update -- at our doctor's appointment to diagnose why we were wailing during feedings, we weighed in at 11 lbs, 6 ounces. Ben gained 12 ounces in two weeks...growing like a weed. Our two month appointment is on September 29.

We found a thumb -- soon to replace the paci, when Ben can remember that his thumb exists... the picture is blurry because he was in mom's arms at the time it happened!

Sleep update -- two nights last week Ben slept for long stretches. 4 and a half hours one night and six hours straight last night. Is it the new grub, the Miracle Blanket, or simply exhaustion from busy days!??
